Here are our Christmas 2020 and New Year Opening Times

It’s a big thumbs up for the Sutton & Epsom Rugby Summer Camp

The Sutton & Epsom RFC Summer Camp 2020 was a great success. After all the troubles this year it was a wonderful chance for the kids to let their hair down and have a great time.

Our paralegal – Shanice’s daughter attended and loved it all – she can’t wait to go back next year.

So it’s a big THUMBS UP

Just wanted to let you know that Cuff & Gough made a significant donation to the Banstead Junior Pool fund and this is the latest progress photo

This is the beginning of the wooden play castle.  The rubberised paint will go down this week and the final parts of the castle will be completed too.

This will be such a positive thing for the children to see as they return to school.

We enjoy supporting our local community and building strong links …. giving something back to the families that support our business .

Will Signing and Coronavirus

corona update 2 april

This time of restricted movement has only heightened the importance of having up to date wills in place. At Cuff & Gough LLP we would like to reassure you that we continue to be available to deal with your enquiries and take your will instructions.

The witnessing of wills has, however, required a more inventive approach, given the requirement to sign in the presence of 2 independent witnesses.

Some of our clients have signed with their witnesses on the other side of a window. They have then put the wills on the front step for the witnesses to do likewise. Others have set up tables in their front garden with neighbours standing in their own front garden. They have signed, stepped away and allowed the witnesses to come forward and sign whilst still maintaining a safe distance from each other.

This list is by no means exhaustive and, at Cuff & Gough LLP, we would love to hear your suggestions as to how your will could be safely executed at this difficult time.

Stay safe and well

Government advice on home moving during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak

Communication received from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government

I am contacting you from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government in order to draw your attention to the recent publication of guidance for home buyers. The guidance can be found here, on the relevant gov.uk page. The publication of this guidance serves to provide further clarity to and amplify the previous messages of the Prime Minister and the Secretary of State, Robert Jenrick.

In addition to sending you this guidance, I would like to urge you to please spread this guidance through your channels to all your relevant members and bodies to whom the guidance should apply and will impact. This is a difficult and unprecedented time and the government immensely values the support you are providing, not just in terms of guidance to your members, but also ensuring messages are disseminated far and wide. It is the last Friday of the month and we are thus keen for this guidance to be communicated as quickly and effectively as possible. I am also sharing the link to our official tweet highlighting the publication of the guidance, we would be most grateful if you could please retweet this through relevant channels.

To improve our engagement, we would be keen to know what channels of communication you are/have been utilising in order to circulate advice and guidance at this time? For example, twitter, press releases, conference calls or email.  Also, if you are planning to put out a quote it would be very useful if you could let us know, we greatly appreciate any support you can provide.

Should you have further queries surrounding the guidance I suggest that you contact my policy colleague Matt Prior (matt.prior@communities.gov.uk).
